The study assesses the logistics performance of OPEC countries using an integrated Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) approach that combines ENTROPY, CRITIC, and LOPCOW weighting methods with the EDAS ranking technique. Utilizing 2018 World Bank Logistics Performance Index (LPI) data across six key dimensions—customs, infrastructure, international shipments, logistics quality, tracking, and timeliness—the research identifies infrastructure, international shipments, and timeliness as the most significant criteria depending on the weighting method used. The final evaluation reveals that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) exhibits the highest logistics performance among OPEC nations, followed by Saudi Arabia, while Angola consistently ranks as the lowest performer. The study concludes that regional logistics success is often tied to political and economic stability and suggests that underperforming countries should invest oil revenues into infrastructure and digital transformation to improve their global trade competitiveness.
