The Conflict Of Israel And Palestine

This location, which we call strategic in a religious sense, is actually Jerusalem, a city of Palestine. The reason why Jerusalem is so important is that it hosted three major religions at different times: first Christians, then Muslims, and now it hosts Jews. This is the history of Palestine and Jerusalem. Now we will discuss the current Israeli-Palestinian problem with you.
Everything started on May 14, 1948, when David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, founded Israel. Just one day after its founding, Israel began its occupation of Gaza, which still continues today. Of course, this occupation was not as severe as it is today until 2007. After 2007, things took an incredible turn and evolved into the current situation. But of course Israel’s real goal was Jerusalem, and exactly 58 years ago in 1967 Israel shocked the world by saying: the state of Israel shocked the world when it seized the remaining Palestinian territories of the West Bank , East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip , as well as the Syrian Golan Heights and the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula , in a matter of six days.In a war with Egypt , Jordan and Syria, known as the 1967 War, or the June War, Israel delivered what came to be known as the “Naksa”, meaning setback or defeat, to the armies of the neighbouring Arab countries, and to the Palestinians who lost all what remained of their homeland.
If we return to the present day, in 2023, the Hamas-Israel war was on the agenda. They were committing almost ten times the torture Israel had inflicted, literally taking revenge. After a bloody conflict in favor of Palestine, America intervened and threatened Hamas. If we look at the current Israeli-Palestinian war, it is clear that Israel has established an overwhelming superiority, just like the times when Hamas had not intervened. If Hamas had not been stopped by force, perhaps Israel would not have been so powerful. I can even say that America issued a statement saying, “We killed the Hamas leader” to weaken Hamas’s power and courage. Although Hamas denied this information after a while, America had already gotten what it wanted.
It is not known what will happen next, but it is a fact that things will never be the same for Palestine, Jerusalem and Gaza.
