A New Phase in UK-Europe Trade Relations

The UK wants to strengthen trade and cooperation with Europe. The country shows that it is open to work together. Trade between the UK and Europe reached 860 billion pounds in the last year, making Europe the UK’s largest export market.
The agreements made with France, Germany and Spain aim to increase cooperation in areas such as technology, clean energy and production. With the Hamburg Declaration signed in January 2026, 100 GW of offshore wind energy projects were planned in commen waters. In addition, mutual investments are also quite high; UK companies invested 782 billion pounds in Europe, while European companies invested 966 billion pounds in the UK.
The UK provides funding and support for companies to grow their businesses. All these steps show that it wants to establish a reliable and profitable cooperation with Europe. Despite global uncertainties, the UK remains a safe and reliable trading partner for Europe.
