Investment, and support to Ukraine
NATO defense ministers discussed the alliance's security priorities and measures to counter new threats at their meeting following the Hague Summit on October 15. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening deterrence, increasing defense capacity against unmanned aerial vehicles (drone), and increasing defense investments among member states. The ministers emphasized the impact of developing technologies on the battlefield and stated that NATO must develop joint solutions in these areas. They also expressed their commitment to continuing military and technological support for Ukraine, focusing particularly on developing air defense systems, drone countermeasures, and long-term defense capabilities. The meeting demonstrated NATO's commitment to adapting to the changing security environment and reshaping its collective defense approach to meet modern threats
