Begüm SÜRER tarafından

NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Šekerinska visited Kyiv on 24–25 November 2025, meeting with senior Ukrainian leaders including the Prime Minister, Foreign and Defence Ministers, digital transformation officials, veterans, and parliamentary representatives. She concluded her visit with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and participated in a session of the “Coalition of the Willing.” Throughout these engagements, she reaffirmed NATO’s unwavering support for Ukraine as Russia intensifies strikes against critical and energy infrastructure, stressing the need for continued resources to bolster Ukraine’s defence and deterrence capabilities.

During the visit, Šekerinska highlighted ongoing NATO assistance under the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List and emphasized the importance of existing cooperation mechanisms such as the NATO-Ukraine Council, the NATO Security Assistance and Training command, and the Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre. Together with Ukraine’s Digital Transformation Minister, she also launched a new defence-innovation program, UNITE – Brave NATO, designed to accelerate joint technological solutions for battlefield needs. The visit underscored NATO’s long-term political, military, and institutional commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s resilience and Euro-Atlantic integration.
