Migrant and Refugee Support Program (MRP)

The Migrant and Refugee Support Program (MRP) is a comprehensive humanitarian and social support-based program implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Türkiye. The program primarily aims to facilitate access to basic rights and services for individuals in vulnerable situations, address protection needs, and support their integration into Turkish society.

The MRP is carried out through Migrant and Refugee Support Centers (MRMs) operating in various provinces across the country. These centers provide psychosocial support, legal counseling, referral services, emergency assistance, and tailored individual support to migrants and refugees. Additionally, the program ensures that individuals are informed about their rights in areas such as health, education, employment, and shelter, and refers them to relevant public institutions or Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) when necessary.
